The fifth and sixth graders completed a drone unit during their STEM classes recently. They learned about important regulations governing the operation of drones. Then they demonstrated their coding skills using the Droneblocks app to program missions for their drones to complete. With each line of code, they watched as their drones came to life by performing intricate maneuvers.
Our FFA soils team were out in the pits today. For two young men, it was their first ever FFA contest! Way to try something new!
The soils team placed 5th overall at the region 1 contest. Team members are Alex Johnson, Berekley Landsverk, Max Heide, and Keegan Hruby.
Shout out to our Forestry team for placing 2nd at the regionals competition and advancing on!🥈 Team members are Tanner Vig, Jake wickham, Avery Hruby, Kaiden Murphy, and Tucker Djernes.
FFA is in full swing! The Fosston Chapter headed to Barnsville Wednesday (Oct 9th) for the 2nd Annual Region 1 Livestock, Soils, Forestry and Poultry CDE Contest. Coming home with 2nd place honors in the soils contest was Fosston senior, Alex Johnson.
