Thanksgiving Break
Mrs. Halbur’s kindergarten class practiced their manners with a full Thanksgiving meal today consisting of turkey (nutter butter), mashed potatoes and gravy (ice cream and caramel/chocolate), and corn (popcorn)! They worked off their yummy meal afterwards with a game of pilgrims across the ocean! Happy Thanksgiving!

This week in their Reading classes, Mrs. Gutterud and Mrs. Olson have been teaching the 4th graders about the cinematic methods used in making movies and TV shows (including the use of green screens). They also read the story Balloons Over Broadway by Melissa Sweet. In STEM class, those two concepts were brought together in a video as the students designed and decorated balloons based on those found in past Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades. Click the link to watch the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzX5MZWaqTo Happy Thanksgiving!
